Grafters fencing, tree management and landscape services Own a high tech stump grinder, that grinds tree stumps into small wood chips in a matter of minutes. The machine is positioned in front of the tree stump, the cutting head is passed back and forth over the stump until it is removed completely or to the depth required.
With our tree stump grinder can tackle tree stumps of any size, from a few inches across to several feet in diameter. The tree stump grinding process is quick, clean and involves minimum ground disturbance.  We can normally provide a quote over the phone simply give us the diameter of the  stump and how high it is above ground.
We also understand that a lot of our customers are attached to their trees and, whilst needing some attention, don’t want to get rid of them. If a tree is growing uncontrollably and is becoming either a safety hazard or is blocking large amounts of light, felling the tree is not the only answer. That’s why we offer an exceptional tree maintenance service, trimming branches that are too difficult to cut yourself; allowing light back in and keeping the tree safe from pesky electricity cables

Crown Reduction

This is a technique used when a tree has become too large for its space and is causing a problem. Our tree surgeons will remove a certain percentage of the height and size of the tree to bring it back to a more manageable size. It is imperative that a highly qualified, experienced tree surgeon carries out this procedure as it involves climbing and the use of a chainsaw.

Crown Thinning

Crown thinning reduces the density of a tree crown by thinning selected branches to allow more light through a tree. Think of this as a stylish haircut for your tree. This job is better undertaken by a superior tree surgeon as performing this procedure incorrectly can damage the tree or make it unsightly.

Crown Lifting

This involves removing selected lower branches of the tree for health and safety reasons, in order
to reduce hazards caused by branches and allow space to move under the tree.

Dead Wooding

Dead wooding is a safety procedure that removes any dead branches or areas from a tree to prevent the  possibility of these bits falling off and causing an accident. Our qualified tree  surgeons are able to fully Assess  your tree and select exactly which bits need to be removed whilst keeping the tree as pretty as possible.
